MommiesSupport.ME Presents: IDEA Support Groups
(Individuals with Disabilities Education Act)
(Region 8)
We are forming new parent support groups for Jefferson County, St. Louis and St. Charles. We are inviting parents of kids with special needs for a monthly meeting beginning in August. The first meeting will be a "get to know you" before we establish meetings for Understanding IEP's, finding services and more. See the Upcoming Seminars page for more information.

Our Experience Shows!WMS7 has been active in the local schools with Facebook and Internet Safety for Parents training in Francis Howell and Wentzville school districts. In 2010 we also presented to educators, administrators and staff at both METC and MoASBO. Additional workshops and training has been provided to parents in being an effective advocates for their children with disabilities. WMS7 has also worked in 2010 with minority owned business providing training, operational management, event services and fund raising ventures. |
