WMS7 had its beginnings in 2006 when the seven children of Edward and Nettie Williams came together to build a business plan. With God and family always being in the forefront the plan was tailored around all the seven kids and extended family’s’ professional experience which range from:
WMS7‘s Cause Defines Us We know that keeping God at the head of our life and maintaining a sense of family is everlasting. We also know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That’s why, with WMS7, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Our Strength is in Community WMS7 is seeking 501(c)(3) status. That’s because in St. Charles, St. Louis, Jefferson County and East St. Louis neighborhoods, we have the presence and partnerships to not just promise, but deliver, positive change. · WMS7 is community centered. For nearly 25years, we’ve been listening and responding to our communities on an individual basis, now we are trying to make a more collaborative effort. · WMS7 brings people together. We connect people of all ages and backgrounds to bridge the gaps in community needs. · WMS7 nurtures potential. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. · WMS7 has local presence. We mobilize local communities to effect lasting, meaningful change.
